The AQA (Assessment and Qualifications Alliance) is the largest A-level and GCSE awarding body in the UK, awarding 45% of full course GCSEs and 44% of A-levels nationally. This summer about 1.5 million candidates sat our A-level and GCSE exams.
About Us
AQA has a leading reputation for promoting education for the public benefit and draws on long experience of setting and marking public exams such as GCSEs, A-levels and other qualifications. We also offer first class support for teachers and learners and are always at the forefront of development of new qualifications.
We are an independent registered charity, with no shareholders, so all our income is used to run our examinations and carry out research and development to improve our qualifications and services.
